Press release | HIGH END SOCIETY e.V., the Association for High Quality Audio and Video Reproduction, will be making its debut appearance at this year’s Making Vinyl Europe 2025 in Haarlem, the Netherlands. The event will take place from September 24–26, 2025, at the Philharmonie Haarlem - PHIL and is recognized as the leading international conference for the vinyl industry.

“With the participation, HIGH END SOCIETY e.V. aims to introduce the association to a new international professional audience. In addition, we are seeking to broaden our reach and establish new connections within the industry. Another key objective is to promote analog music culture and demonstrate the authenticity and emotional impact of high-quality music reproduction,” says Jürgen Timm, Chairman of the Board of HIGH END SOCIETY e.V.

Making Vinyl Europe 2025 brings together pressing plants, record labels, technology and packaging experts, as well as lifestyle and cultural brands, to discuss current trends, innovations, and industry challenges. As a unique B2B platform dedicated exclusively to the vinyl industry, the event combines technical topics, sustainability, cultural aspects, and lifestyle content. With its international scope, it attracts participants and exhibitors from more than 20 countries and is highly regarded for its strong repeat attendance and exclusive networking opportunities across the entire supply chain—from pressing and packaging to distribution.

The association will host an exhibition booth to present its activities and engage with attendees. Member companies Thorens, Transrotor, and Elac will showcase their latest turntables, while Octave and TAD (Technical Audio Devices Labs.) will support the presentation with tube amplifiers and loudspeaker systems, underlining the association’s strong ties to analog music reproduction. In addition, representatives of the association will take part in the official conference program. During the panel discussion The Cult of Gear – Resisting Elitism in Audio Obsession and a Great Sounding Future for All, audio experts will explore current developments and challenges in the vinyl industry. The panel will be moderated by renowned American Hi-Fi journalist Michael Fremer.

HIGH END SOCIETY e.V. looks forward to sharing its passion for analog music reproduction at Making Vinyl Europe 2025 and engaging in dialogue with stakeholders from across the industry.
