Press release | We’ve been designing modular open-baffle speakers since 2013. All our models are voiced to an organic, musical, non-fatiguing presentation that, quoting one of our reviewers, “puts you squarely in Row 10 of the performance, close enough to enjoy the musical details, but far enough back to hear how it all comes together.” We focus on presenting the music as a whole, as a complete recorded work, rather than deconstructing it into fragmented sonic elements or pushing every detail beyond its natural balance.

The Quartet15 design concept
Quartet15 was born from our aim to create a speaker that brings together 14 years of experience in open-baffle, along with audio components that align with our approach and have proven themselves in our other models. We were looking for a way to give the speaker a size close to our Quintet15, with a real-life sense of presence, a wall-of-sound presentation, and a sonic signature that remains consistent across all drivers.

A cohesive design
All drivers in the Quartet15 are paper-cone drivers, and they share the same sonic signature, so once they are crossed over – with our first-order crossover – there’s no change in tonality from one driver to the other. This allows the music to come through as one continuous, organic presentation.
Quartet15 features our custom 15-inch woofers, the same ones used across all our Line 15 models, from the Duet15 to the Quintet15.
For a speaker of this size, to enrich the midrange and give it even more presence, we use our custom 10-inch woofer, the same driver used in our coaxial design.
And for the tweeter, we implemented a Voxativ 5-inch neodymium full-range driver. Voxativ drivers are considered a gold standard in their class, and this specific model reproduces the upper frequencies with a natural ease and fine tonal balance, allowing instruments to come through as rich, highly realistic, and lifelike.

Coherence and sonic signature
We mentioned the consistency of the sonic signature, and we’d like to take a piano as an example. When listening to a piano, playing from the lowest notes to the highest, different drivers take over, yet each carries its own sonic signature. With drivers that share similar materials and construction, the sonic signature remains consistent along the entire keyboard, allowing the instrument to retain its natural body and character, just as it does in real life.

Summary
To sum up, the Quartet15 is a large, yet surprisingly slim open-baffle speaker. Its soundstage is not only wide, but also high. All drivers are paper-cone and share the same sonic signature.
Due to its size, the Quartet15 conveys a sense of sonic mass that allows instruments and vocals to carry weight and presence, with a natural sense of scale.
The Quartet15 is designed for long, emotionally engaging, and completely non-fatiguing listening sessions at any volume level… for true music lovers.
